Mapua Institute joins UiTM Sports Fiesta in Selangor

Philippines' Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) Tennis Club will participate in the 9th UiTM International Sports Fiesta to be held in Selangor, Malaysia from August 21 to 25, 2014.
This was announced by the National Secretariat of the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP) after an arrangement reach with the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) through Professor Ahmad Mustaza, organizer of the Sports Fiesta under the auspices of UiTM, one of the biggest universities in Malaysia.
UiTM is one of the prime movers in the ASEAN Sports Council (ASC), a member of the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF).
Mapua delegation will be headed by Mr. Melchor Divina, school's Athletic Director, with athletes Janeo Ross Sanchez, Kert Ocampo, Walter Salanguit, and Ivan Adato. Head coach is Antonio Quiza.
The Mapua Tennis Club will compete in the single and double events. The venue site will be at UiTM Sports Complex, Shah Alam in Selangor.
