                    Hello, It's About Us, FESSAP Inc.

DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES

FESSAP, Inc. is a non-profit and non-stock organization. In principle, it does not pursue any economic character for its own gain. The financial income of FESSAP, Inc. shall be used exclusively in pursuit of the objectives laid down in this Constitution and By-Laws.

FESSAP, Inc. shall maintain absolute political and religious neutrality and shall not tolerate any racial or other forms of discrimination. It shall be fully autonomous and must resist all pressures of any external influence, whether of political or economic nature.

It shall never engage nor associate with any undertaking which would be in conflict with the principles of FESSAP, Inc. and with the Rules of FISU.

                                                                POLICIES AND OBJECTIVES

FESSAP, Inc. shall promote, supervise and direct the conduct and development of sports throughout the Philippines, and in particular, shall:
  1. Form, prepare and enter national teams in international competitions;
 
  1. Collaborate and coordinate with the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and other International  competitions such as Summer and Winter Universiade, World University Championship, Asian University Championship, Asia-Pacific University Sports Union (APUSU), Asia Pacific University Games (APUG), Asian University Basketball Federation (AUBF), ASEAN University Sports Council (AUSC);
 
  1. Collaborate and coordinate with the Philippine University Championship (PUC) & Philippine University League in Basketball and Volleyball, National Students Championship (NSC) in all cases including Philippine participation in any international championship;
 
  1. Collaborate and coordinate with the FISU regarding Philippine participation in all FISU-accredited championships and tournaments;
 
  1. Power to appoint and control referees, technical, commissioner, director, and other games officials;
 
  1. Control and govern all competitions in the FESSAP affiliated university league-organizations which schools/clubs teams are taking part;
 
  1. Conduct surveys, research, seminars and clinics for the promotion and development of sports in the schools, out of school youth in the local government units (LGUs) and institutions, clubs in the university;
 
  1. Regulate and supervise the officials, technical, coaches, players and game officials connected with various sports discipline, all records, person files, statistics as input in the database; and
 
  1. Engage in any other activity that is necessary, beneficial or incidental to achieve any of its purposes. 
                                                                                    PURPOSE

The purpose of FESSAP, INC. shall be the promotion, development of sports among its members as well as to promote sports values and encourage sports practice in harmony with the Filipino school spirit.

The FESSAP is the sole local university sports organization that is recognized by the Federation Internationale Du Sports Universitaire (FISU) or International University Sports Federation (English version), which is the organizer of the Olympics-style Summer and Winter Universiades and the World University Games.

​Mission Statement
 
To help uplift Philippine sports by developing athletes at the collegiate and university level to represent the Philippines in World University Games (Summer and Winter Universiade) and subsequently in the World  University Championships of various sports and University World Cup, Olympic Games, including regional and continental championships, non-university world championships in different sports and the biggest sports games, the Olympics.
Vision Statement
 
A strong sports body promoting sports excellence and strong character through the shaping of a sporting culture founded values of hard work, integrity, respect, and joy of effort among collegiate student-athletes.
